Montriond and Morzine.
Montriond
is a small village associated with the historic market town of Morzine,
and retains the air of a market town, and not just a resort.
The
Town
The
traditional life of the village can be appreciated through a visit
to the old town under the auspices of one of the official Guides
of the region of Savoy. Various themes are offered to allow you
to discover the architecture, traditions, and way of life of Morzine.
Shopping
As
you walk through the streets, it will come as no surprise to discover
local products and activities in the shop window displays —
cheeses and mountain-cured meats, traditional Savoy pottery, or
objects made of carved wood or slate made by local craftsmen.
Bars
There are a wide variety of bars to suit every taste. Le
Crépuscule is a very lively aprés ski bar, Le Boudha
café is a great place to chill out, as well as Irish bars
with live music and the more sophisticated Les Alps.
Restaurants
There are over 50 restaurants in town catering from basic crepes
and pizzas to traditional french. Many restaurants such as La
Chamade prepare Savoy region specialties including fondues and
braserades.
Night
Clubs
There are 3 night clubs that are open to at least 3 or
beyond.
